From fruits to kite, this vocal parrot is a boss of online shopping using Alexa

A parrot in the United Kingdom has grabbed the attention of the media due to this amazing shopping skills. Rocco, an African grey, has been using Amazon Alexa to shop online while his owner was away. 

The parrot, used his owner's Amazon Alexa device to order a range of his favourite snacks including watermelons, raisins, broccoli and ice cream, along with a light bulb and a kite

African grey parrots are famous for their ability to mimic speech and this parrot used his skills like a pro. 

Rocco's owner Marion Wischnewski told the Daily Mail that she was shocked when she saw what he had done. "I have to check the shopping list when I come in from work and cancel all the items he's ordered," she said.

Daily Mail reports that Rocco the parrot was recently given a new home after being removed from the National Animal Welfare Trust sanctuary for “cursing too much.”  He currently lives with sanctuary worker Marion Wischnewski who reportedly agreed to foster him in her home.
