French Prime Minister Francois Hollande is currently facing claims that he abused public cash to fund his former girlfriend's lifestyle.

Hollande is also accused of tax fraud for allegedly failing to declare the assets that he shared with former First Lady Valerie Trierweiler, the Mirror reported.

Supermarket magnate Xavier Kemlin also claimed that politician Anne Hidalgo had Hollande's lovechild and is also abusing public funds to provide police protection.

A judicial spokesman said prosecutors will look at the case, but said that Kemlin's complaints have been made to the police and have been handed over to prosecutors in Paris.
