The missing Malaysia Airlines plane investigators have reportedly expressed suspicion over the possibility of involvement of passenger Mohd Khairul Amri Selamat in the disappearance of flight MH370.

Investigators are probing whether Selamat could be the hijacker, after it was found that the passenger was a flight expert and knew how to disable the tracking systems.

According to Daily Star, the passenger was a flight engineer, who worked for a jet charter firm and was one of 239 passengers and crew aboard when the Malaysian Airlines jet disappeared 10 days ago.

An unnamed senior police official said that they were looking into Mohd Khairul as well as the other passengers and crew, adding that the focus is on anyone who might have had aviation skills.
