Hours before England’s Round of 16 match with Iceland, a busy shopping centre in Nice, France was evacuated after a bomb scare.

A local newspaper called Nice Matin claimed that two bottles of gas were discovered at the entrance of the Lingostiere Centre. It is believed a controlled explosion will be carried out. Over 2000 people were led from the centre. The centre is just two miles from the Stade de Nice where England will play Iceland at 12:30 AM IST (8 PM local time).

Alpes-Maritimes Police later claimed that the bag contained tools and it was a  "false alarm", reported the Telegraph.
