The jet flying from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean.

Egypt's military on Friday said its search teams found wreckage from the missing EgyptAir plane that crashed in the Mediterranean with 66 people on board.
"Egyptian aircraft and navy vessels have found personal belongings of passengers and parts of the wreckage 290 kilometres north of Alexandria," its spokesman said on his Facebook page.
According to a press release on the airline's official website, Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation has received an official letter from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declaring the finding of wreckage of the missing aircraft No. MS 804 near Karpathos Island."
It also stated that the Egyptian Investigation Team is in co-operation with its Greek counterpart and still searching for other remains of the missing plane.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi expressed his condolences to the families of victims who were on board flight.
"The presidency with utmost sadness and regret mourns the victims on aboard the EgyptAir flight who were killed after the plane crashed in the Mediterranean on its way back to Cairo from Paris," Sisi's office said in a statement.

The jet carrying 66 passengers and crew from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean on Thursday. The aircraft was carrying 56 passengers, including one child and two infants, and 10 crew.
They passengers included 30 Egyptian and 15 French nationals, along with citizens of 10 other countries.
