The President of United States of America Donald Trump's tweet about Time magazine's "person of the year" invited inner trolls of celebrities like tennis star Andy Murray, Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill.
On early Saturday morning (IST), Trump tweeted
Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

Trump was already named person of the year in 2016 following his shock defeat of Hillary Clinton in the presidential race. But the "probability" winning this year didn't sit well with businessman turned politician. He claimed to decline it.
In the matters of hours, Time magazine hit back saying the publication does not comment on the choice for that honour until the day the issue comes out. This time the date is December 6.
The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6.

Chief Content Officer of the publication, Alan Murray, called out Trump's bluff.
Amazing. Not a speck of truth here—Trump tweets he 'took a pass' at being named TIME's person of the year https://t.co/D6SJgyTpcY

Mark Hamill had one of the best zingers. He said he was ready to give spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But now that Trump has turned down the honour, he doesn't want it.
Time Magazine called to say that I was DEFINITELY going to be named "Man (Person) of the Year" but I would have to agree to leak major #Ep8 spoilers. I said "no problem", but then they told me you turned it down and now I don't want it anymore. Thanks anyway! https://t.co/0tPGr1cNEM
