Manchester crowds broke into an emotional chorus of "Don't Look Back in Anger" on Thursday after a minute of silent tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing.
The northern English city is mourning those killed in a suicide bombing at a pop concert packed with young people on Monday evening, which left 22 people dead and dozens injured.
One woman started the song, by Manchester pop group Oasis, and was quickly joined at the chorus by the crowds surrounding her, followed by clapping and cheering.
"And so Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as we're walking on by/Her soul slides away, 'But don't look back in anger', I heard you say," they sang.
The tragedy has brought out the strong will and unity of a city famous for its pioneering culture.
