Dhaka police claims it has nabbed 'Bangladesh coordinator' of IS

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has claimed that it has nabbed the "Bangladesh coordinator" of Middle East-based terror group, Islamic State (IS). Khandaker Rabiul Ahsan, assistant commissioner of DMP (media) said that they were arrested by police from Jatrabari and Khilkhet areas of Dhaka last night, reported The Daily Star.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has claimed that it has nabbed the "Bangladesh coordinator" of Middle East-based terror group, Islamic State (IS). Khandaker Rabiul Ahsan, assistant commissioner of DMP (media) said that they were arrested by police from Jatrabari and Khilkhet areas of Dhaka last night, reported The Daily Star.

The news was conveyed to the media today by a message circulated by the DMP. However, it did not specify how those suspects were linked to the IS.

The message said that the four were arrested leaflets and laptops and added that more details would be revealed at a press conference scheduled to take place later in the day.
