Severe snow storm struck the North-Eastern part of USA on Wednesday, with Buffalo district bearing the brunt of the sudden calamity.

Seven casualties were reported after the storm, as three people died in shock from heart attacks, whereas two perished in car related accidents.

The entire country saw a massive dip in temperature, with more such storms expected in the hours to come by.

Schools remained closed in most parts of the country, and heavy hail and clogged roads ensured that motorists were stuck amidst the chaos.

New York took immediate action in deploying 100 National Guard members to restore order, and also assist stranded motorists from heavy snow.

Reports confirm that a total of 20 deaths have taken place throughout the country since the incident, and the toll is expected to rise as time passes.

Train services in New York were severly affected and Buffalo saw state highways being jammed with mounds of snow.

Most pre-game sporting activities have been called off in Buffalo, as it is yet unclear whether things will resume to normalcy in the days to come by.
