Microsoft co-founder and one of the world’s richest men Bill Gates recently shared a picture of his father wearing a baseball cap made out condoms on Twitter. And know, it's not because he's Barney Stinson in disguise.

Bill Gates Senior made heads turn with his strange headgear and it turns out that it’s a gift from a social activist in Thailand who works on propagating the use of contraceptives in the conservative country.

In the post, Bill wrote, “TBT to the time that my dad wore a baseball hat made from hundreds of condoms to our foundation’s annual meeting. The hat was a gift from a social activist from Thailand named Mechai Viravaidya. His efforts to destigmatize contraceptives have been so successful that he is affectionately known as “Mr. Condom” or the “Condom King”, in his home country.”

In the past, Gates has praised Mechai Viravaidya for figuring out indigenous ways to advertise condoms.
