A Brit has been arrested for allegedly planning the Kenyan mall massacre, as detailed maps of the shopping complex were recovered on his laptop.
Sharif Ahmed Abdirizakm who is a Manchester United fan, was nabbed as he tried to leave the country with his computer, which was said to be guarded by the password ‘Enemy’.
According to the Daily Star, Kenyan police sources said that they discovered plans of the layout of the Westgate complex in Nairobi, where 67 people were killed and 61 others are still missing, on his laptop.
The 35-year-old was arrested after a scuffle at Nairobi airport as he tried to board a flight to Britain via Istanbul hours after the four-day siege began.
Neighbours in Manchester said the divorced father-of-two, who lived on benefits in a council flat, “suddenly disappeared” in July.
