British Airways and easyJet face delays after French air control strike

According to officials, the flights can experience a lengthy delay and cancellations.

Passengers of British Airways and easyJet will be facing flight cancellations over the next three days because of industrial strike by the employees of French air traffic control.

According to reports, those passengers who are travelling from Luton, Heathrow, Gatwick to French airports could face flight cancellations or huge delays.

Gatwick officials said that all the passengers who are expected to travel in the coming days should contact their airlines for any updates regarding flight schedules.

EasyJet spokesperson said that at least 82 flights were cancelled on Sunday due to the strike. The flights also included 32 passenger carriers which were scheduled to take off from British airports.

He said, "We have been proactively informing affected customers, so they have the opportunity to reorganise their journeys. “Affected customers can change their flight free of charge or receive a refund. We advise customers to make any amendments to their booking on the Manage My Bookings area of easyJet.com," Guardian reported.
