A Manhattan-based company is pitching a product to men who are concerned about the effects of mobile phone radiation on their fertility. The company Belly Armor's RadiaShield boxer briefs, which come with a thin layer of aluminium-like silver in the crotch area to shield little swimmers, promise to protect men's reproductive organs and maintain fertility health, News.com.au reported.

Spokeswoman Katherine Niefeld said that co-founders Aileeen Chen and Michael Lam developed the undergarments in response to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine 2007 study that showed use of mobile phones decreases semen quality. Niefeld added that a guy doesn't know that putting the mobile phone in his pocket will do things to his sperm.

RadiaShield boxers that cost 49 dollars a pop will go on sale on October 23, 2014.
