Boxer Amir Khan sparks outrage for posing with AK47-shaped shisha pipe

Boxer Amir Khan recently sparked outrage after he posed for a photo with a shisha pipe shaped like an AK47 assault rifle.

The image, which was uploaded to the former world champ's Facebook page, had a message that read "AK with an AK Shisha", which he didn't smoke, but decided to share the pic after seeing it, the Mirror reported.

It was posted just days after the Olympic silver medalist complained he was refused a US visa, but in response to the pic, campaigner Amanda Everitt, of Mothers Against Murder and Aggression, said that it is disappointing when high-profile people post with items like this, as these pics can cause great offence.

Another user said that the boxer was sending a wrong message with the state of which the world is in, while another user said that he can't see how people think a AK47 is awesome and even a shisha pipe is very distasteful for today's younger generation.
