Since leaving the White House after new POTUS Donald Trump's inauguration day on January 20, the former first family have been off the grid.
While many are trying to figure out where in the world the Obama's are, the former president and first lady decided to resurface to profess their love for each other in the most modern way on Valentine's Day.
After what seems like an eternity since Barack Obama has taken to social media, he tweeted a picture of the couple in the White House with a sweet caption: "Happy Valentine's Day, Michelle Obama! Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new."

Michelle responded with her own heartfelt message, a picture of their feet in the sand, which she captioned:"Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life and favourite island mate!"

While they have largely been absent from the limelight, the couple were recently spotted vacationing at one of the British Virgin Islands, Necker Island, with Sir Richard Branson.
