In a bid to woo foreign fighters, the Islamic State (IS) has reportedly opened its first shopping mall in Mosul.

Called Khalifah Mall, the place is crammed with pots and pans, cleaning equipment, cooking oils and chick peas, reported The Daily Star.

The terror outfit has banned top sportswear brands such as, Nike for being un-Islamic. Apparels carrying logos have also been outlawed under idolatry laws and shopkeepers are forbidden from selling anything linked to the United States.

The group has also barred booze, music and dancing under Sharia law. The only books that are available are religious texts.

The news came just a day after the terror group reopened a 262-room five-star hotel in the city.
