Adolf Hitler had once listed his occupation as an author in a 1932 directory of addresses of people residing in Munich, it has been revealed

The leader of the Nazi party described himself as ‘schriftsteller’, which means an author, writer or wordsmith, because of the success of his book ‘Mein Kampf’, which translates to ‘My Struggle’, Daily Express reported

Hitler’s signed personal copy of the directory that comes with his original receipt, dated December 19, 1931, before the book’s publication is set to go under the hammer at Mullock’s auction house in Ludlow, Shropshire

The copy is set to fetch an estimated 5,000 pounds.
