105 Pakistan terror suspects arrested

 At least 105 terror suspects, including Afghans, were arrested on Saturday as part of the Pakistan government's offensive against militants after the Taliban's deadly school attack in the city.

85 suspects including Afghan refugees were arrested during search operation in different rural areas of Peshawar. Police and security agencies also launched search operation in Sokano, Khattako Pul, Badhaber and Mathraa areas of Peshawar.

Police said that stolen vehicles, arms and explosives were recovered from the custody of the arrested people.

In Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least 20 suspected people including six Afghans were arrested in a search operation launched by police in different areas. The Afghans were said to be illegally living in the country.

The operation was carried out in the areas of Mian Ghaana Colony, Khawaja Abad, Afghan Mahajir Camp and Garrison College in which 20 suspicious people including six Afghans have been arrested until now. The suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed place for interrogation.

The arrests come in the wake of last week's school attack in Peshawar that killed 150 people, including 134 children.
