Eid al-Adha or as it is also known, Bakr-Eid, is the celebration or a 'feast of sacrifice'. It is celebrated after the Hujjaj, the pilgrims performing Haj, descend from the Mount Arafat, to the east of Mecca.
On September 12, 2016, people came together in celebration of this holy festival. However, India will be celebrating the festival on September 13.
