A resident of Jodhpur has designed a miniature cooler to provide relief to his pet birds from the scorching heat. Perched in their cages, the birds cool themselves in front of the cooler, which has been designed by their owner Mohammed Afzal.

"People use coolers and fans to get respite from heat. I've got pet birds and to provide them relief from the heat, I've designed a miniature cooler of the size three-and-half by two-and-half inches. It is providing relief to the birds," Afzal said.

The innovative cooler has created quite a stir with people coming to take a glimpse of the birds sitting in front of it. Summers are a difficult time when soaring temperatures lead to numerous casualties across the country.
