As the world waited and watched the chimney at Sistine Chapel from Tuesday evening, two rounds of black smoke left many watchers disappointed at St. Peter's Square.
But curious birds flew around the world's most watched chimney. There was an interesting bird that spent a lot of time on the chimney and fascinated a lot of live and television viewers. This bird a seagull was seen hanging a lot around the chimney and also braving the rain that lashed the Vatican.
The bravery of the bird has led to the bird having it's own Twitter handle @sistineseagull with more than two thousand followers and counting on the social media site.
The account has a description that says 'Hanging out at Conclave. Loving Life. And Cheetos with Sistine Chapel Chimney as its location.
The handle also has tweets regularly about speculation on what the cardinals are doing and who the new Pope will be.
