Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has emphasised the need for having a dialogue to keep relations between various religions harmonious and peaceful.
Addressing the 33rd World Congress of International Association for Religious Freedom in Kochi on Saturday, he said: "Conflicts among various religions could not prove beneficial as no solutions can come out of them."
"This century should be century of dialogue. So there are various religious traditions also have immense potential to build that. So since various religious traditions have that same potential," he added.
Swami Agnivesh, a New Delhi-based social activist, was also present along with other religious leaders at the event.
