Incidents of citizens losing their minds and misbehaving with cops have become quite common. Recently, a video surfaced on the internet which showed a couple misbehaving with a traffic cop for towing their car which was illegally parked in Thane.

The accused has been identified as Amar Singh along with his wife Meena Singh. Both of them are seen abusing and threatening the constable. According to a TOI report, the incident took place on July 8 when the accused had parked his car at a no-parking zone in Mira Road. When the traffic cop on duty in the area wheel-locked the vehicle, the couple threatened to rip off his uniform.

While the constable remained in control while directing his workers to tow the car, the accused continued to misbehave with them and was also seen flouting covid norms by not wearing a mask.

In the video, the accused can be seen shouting at the policeman saying, "I’ll rip it from the middle…! Take off the uniform and tell me again…!"

After the video went viral, the couple was booked for misbehaving with the cop on duty. "We have registered a case against two persons for misbehaving with on-duty Traffic police personnel under relevant sections of the IPC," said Police. After his arrest, the accused was seen regretting his behaviour and crying in another video.

Earlier this year, a couple from Delhi also went viral for a similar incident. The couple was filmed shouting at the policeman who stopped their car for flouting covid rule since they weren't wearing a mask inside the car.
