Popular TV actress Shilpa Shinde won the hearts of the masses during her stint in the Bigg Boss 11 house and emerged as the winner of the season. While speculations were rife that the Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actress will buy a new house for herself with the prize money, looks like Shilpa has other plans in mind.
A report on the IndianExpress suggests that the actress did purchase a house in Malad but that wasn't with her Bigg Boss prize money. "I had bought it with my earnings that were released by producers of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai just before I was offered Bigg Boss. I made the payment and went to the Bigg Boss house. So, a lot of paperwork I finished once I came out. In fact, now I feel that maybe this is why people thought that I bought the house from the prize money," Shilpa was quoted as saying.
When quizzed about what does she plan to do with her prize money, the ex Bigg Boss contestant told the portal, "I always had thought that if I ever win the show, I will only use the prize money for other people, in my dad’s memory. And now that I have won it, I want to make a place for old people. Actually, I have realised all that old people want from you is that they want to talk. And in our busy lives and work, we barely get any time for a freewheeling chat with our folks."
Shilpa said that she wants to create a creche for the elderly people where working adults can send there parents where the old people will meet like-minded ones of their own age group, with whom they all can mingle and chat, play games. She also shared that there will be helpers to take care of their meals, medicines and other needs. This way, the working adults can also be stress free while they're at work. Shilpa added that she wants to utilise her Bigg Boss prize money for this concept and cause.
