'Yes, I had sex with Shahid Afridi': Ex Bigg Boss 11 contestant Arshi Khan clears the air on her controversial tweet

Ex Bigg Boss 11 contestant and controversy queen Arshi Khan finally cleared the air on her controversial tweet about Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. The self-proclaimed seductress had grabbed major eyeballs back in the year 2015 when she had tweeted, "Yes, I had sex with Afridi. Do I need the Indian media's permission to sleep with someone? It's my personal life. For me it was love." Needless to say, the explicit nature of the tweet drew invited major uproar. Infact, Arshi had also expressed her desire to get married to Afridi around the same time. 

In a later interview, Arshi had also claimed that she had called up the cricketer before entering the Bigg Boss house in season 11. But looks like she has finally learnt from her experiences and hence she decided to come clean on the entire episode. 

Why do we say so? Well, Arshi recently appeared on Rajeev Khandelwal's talk show, Juzzbaat and seemed apologetic about the entire controversial episode. She shared, "I respect Mr Afridi a lot. He has done a lot for me. That tweet was a mistake and I should not have addressed him openly about such sensitive issues. Afridi Sahaab ke bahut ehsaan hai mujh par."

Even during her stint in the Bigg Boss house, Arshi never failed to grab the eyeballs owing to her controversial statements and actions. Her love for wearing nighties became so famous, that netizens started calling her nighty-queen. She will be seen gracing the chat show along with fellow queen of controversies and new-found-friend, Rakhi Sawant.
