Will Karan Mehra join 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' back? Here's what actor has to say

Television actor Karan Mehra was the face of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actor, along with Hina Khan, were associated with the show since its inception in 2009. Karan played the role of Naitik in the TV show, which has now taken a generation leap with Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles.

Karan walked out of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai owing to health reasons, but soon got replaced by Vishal Singh. However, hopes of some fans got high when Karan greeted the show's producer Rajan Shahi warmly at a recent event. The event happened to be an awards show, where Mehra-Shahi shared a hug.

According to Telly Chakkar however the meeting was a casual meeting and nothing more. Karan stated that he is not returning to the show and hasn't even been approached for it yet. Karan further clarified by saying, “Well, we are in touch and exchange messages, but I couldn’t meet Rajan Sir that day. It is strange how such news is formulated.”

After being recognized through the show, Karan was even participant in Bigg Boss 10. He won a lot of praises for his behaviour among the housemates. Mehra then appeared in Khatmal-E-Ishq, Kitchen Champion 5 and Ek Bhram… Sarvagun Sampanna (which went on air this year).
