Wednesday is turning out to be a very busy day for Marvel fans. At first, the trailer for Deadpool 2 landed and now we have a brand new trailer for the second season of Jessica Jones.

The trailer begins with Jessica (Krysten Ritter) remembering the car accident that killed her parents and landed her in a facility that experimented on her and gave her superpowers.

She is also struggling with her newly established status as vigilante superhero after the events of The Defenders. She also finds herself in competition with another private investigator.

On the other hand, Trish Walker (Rachel Taylor) and Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville) rise to the occasion and are trying to be the sidekicks Jessica deserves.

What follows in the rest of the trailer is a series of some questions answered that lead to more curiosity about what happened to Jessica and where did she come from?

The trailer shows that there may be others who have powers like Jessica does. "How many others are there?" she asks Janet McTeer’s character. The upcoming season will answer the question whether these 'others' are allies or enemies of Jessica Jones.

"It takes a monster, to stop a monster," says Jessica as she tries to solve the ultimate mystery about her past.

And then... shines a purple light. That shows someone clapping. Bet, they are David Tennant's hands!
