DC Universe streaming service announced their arrival with a bang at San Diego Comic-Con by releasing the first trailer for the Titans series on Thursday.

The live-action adaptation of Teen Titans characters, like other successful TV shows that have come out of DC Universe, takes a darker turn than their comic or cartoon counterparts.

The 1.51-minutes-long trailer for the series features Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, Hawk, Dove, and The Acolyte.

The trailer emphasises on how much Robin, once a sidekick of The Dark Knight, hates Batman. To the level that we hear the first F-bomb hurled when thugs in the alley ask Robin the whereabouts of Caped Crusader.

From the looks of first trailer, Raven, played by Rachel Roth, and struggle with her superpowers will be a key factor in bringing these Titans together. She finds Robin/Dick Grayson, played by Brenton Thwaites, who is compassionate when taking care of her, but an utter monster when fighting crime.

Starfire, Beast Boy and other characters make an appearance in the trailer to let the audience know they too are a part of this new retelling.

Apart from Roth and Thwaites, Minka Kelly, Ryan Potter also star in the series.
