Ekta Kapoor is teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan to promote 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'
Surprise surprise! Like most of us, popular director-producer Ekta Kapoor too is in love with the Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.
Yes, you read that right!
Ekta Kapoor on Thursday morning shared a video on her Instagram, which got her fans and followers scratching their heads.
In the video, Ekta and Shah Rukh can be seen all decked up in a fancy place lit with baubles. In the short, 10-second video Shah Rukh asks Ekta about her love life and who is the new man she has fallen for.
“Teri life mein hai kuch?Naya pyaar hai? You can tell me. Ekta, main main hu, mujhe toh bol sakti hai (Does your life have something new? A new love? You can tell me. It’s me Ekta, you can tell me),” he says to her in his usual charming voice while all Ekta could do was giggle beside him. “I love you, sir,” Ekta tells him through the giggles and the video ends with a hug between the two.
Ekta captioned the video (which has now been deleted), “Oooooops!!!!! I was dying to say it’s u sir @iamsrk ! But I shut up! Otherwise I’m in love with .... my work #hAlftruths #mugshots.”
A couple of days back there were reports that the Raees actor might be the narrator of the reboot of Ekta Kapoor’s show Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, and looks like the news was bang on.
A source told Mumbai Mirror that the two met at a party recently when Ekta floated the idea with him.
“Following a brainstorming session, Ekta decided to join in and the two discuss timeless romance on camera with SRK playfully prodding Ekta about her love life,” the source said.
Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 is a reboot of the hit Star Plus soap opera from the early 2000s, starring Ronit Roy, Cezanne Khan and Shweta Tiwari.
The reboot will star Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead roles, while Hina Khan is rumored to play the vamp, Komolika.
