It has been only a few weeks now when we first came to know that Sonali Bendre is suffering from cancer.
The Kal Ho Na Ho actress sent shock waves in the industry and outside, leaving her fans and followers baffled when she announced on her Instagram handle that she is battling "high grade cancer".
The actress who was on the sets of India’s Best Dramebaaz season 3 as one of the judges, had shot a few episodes before sharing the heartfelt post to inform about the development.
But deeply affected and sad, Sonali's co-judge from the show Vivek Oberoi recently burst into tears on the sets after seeing an act which reminded him of the beautiful actress.
A bunch of contestants performed an act where contestant Deepali Borkar played a cancer patient. The act was all about battling cancer and coming out victorious.
The act left everyone spellbind and speechless.
The Badlapur actress Huma Qureshi and Omung Kumar couldn’t hold back their tears, but looked like Vivek was the one who was affected the most with the act who later shared that the act reminded him of Sonali, who has been his co-judge since season one.
He addressed her as his close friend and shared how much he misses her. The Saathiya actor also asked everyone to pray every day for her well-being.
Sonali Bendre is definitely a fighter and her initial post also suggested so.
After breaking the news she also wrote that she is positive to fight this out. “There is no better way to tackle this, than to take swift and immediate action. And so, as advised by my doctors, I am currently undergoing a course of treatment in New York. We remain optimistic and I am determined to fight every step of the way.”
