'Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah' actor Dilip Joshi campaigns for BJP candidate in Rajasthan assembly elections

Rajasthan Assembly Elections will see a popular television face campaigning for a candidate. Actor Dilip Joshi, who plays the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', is all set to campaign for Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Lalit Ostwal, who is contesting from Bari Sadri Assembly seat in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan.

The actor will attend a public event where he will seek support for the BJP candidate from the people. Apart from doing TV shows, Dilip Joshi has also appeared in Bollywood films like Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Maine Pyaar Kiya. He is one of the most popular actors of recent times entertaining us with his superb comic timing. The actor will emerge as a major crowd puller for this campaign with his nation-wide appeal. 

Recently, the Congress Party released a popular Rajasthani folk song Holiya Ma Ude Re Gulaal taking a dig at current Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. The song was titled Maharani thari ahankari se and included many clips and photographs of the Chief Minister. The video also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, referring to them as ‘Jumla waalo’.

Rajasthan will vote for the 200-General Assembly seats on December 7 and the results for the same will be declared on December 11.
