The pandemic may have delayed plans but not cancelled them. We say so because both in 2020 and 2021, we have witnessed a good number of celebrity couples, some of who have either tied the knot during this time or embraced parenthood.

From Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan to Dia Mirza, all these Bollywood actresses have embraced motherhood amidst the pandemic. In fact, many stars from the television industry too announced their pregnancy amid the pandemic including Kishwer Merchant, Aditi Malik, Anita Hassanandani and most recently Sushmita Sen's sister-in-law, actor Charu Asopa.

Talking about Charu Asopa, the 'Baalveer' star tied the knot with former Miss Universe Susmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen in June 2019 in a private ceremony in Goa. And recently, the actress revealed that she is expecting her first child.  Rajeev had posted a picture with his wife, Charu Asopa Sen and had written, "Happiness is on the way #weare3."

And an avid social media user, Charu too took to her Instagram handle to make the announcement in the sweetest way.

Recently, after the announcement, the actress on June 5 shared a video in which she can be seen flaunting her small baby bump in a yellow polka dot co-ord dress. The actress was also seen grooving to the song Gila Gila Gila from the movie, Aitraaz. She captioned the video, "Pregnancy is not a disease, it’s a rebirth of a woman. Enjoy the time but safely." Later, she even posted a selfie in the same attire and captioned it with a sunflower emoji.

Recalling the day she had first got to know about her pregnancy, Charu told Hindustan Times, "I remember I was shivering in the bathroom, and couldn't even come outside for 15-20 minutes. Then I told Rajeev and he was also confused and didn't know how to express. It was late at night, we didn't know if we should tell the family then or wait until morning. Then we video called everyone at 12:30 am, I wish I had have recorded their expressions. They all were so happy."
