Looks like the bitterness post the mid air fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover isn't going to recede any time soon. Why do we say so? Well, if the latest reports are to be believed, then Sunil along with Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra are mighty. miffed with Kiku Sharda for tweeting in favour of The Kapil Sharma Show over Supernight With Tubelight.
What actually happened is that Kiku's recent tweet about TKSS getting better TRP ratings than Sunil's Supernight with Tubelight has left team Sunil Grover upset. As per a TOI report, a source close to Sunil's team informed that soon after the recent BARC ratings came out it was evident that Kapil's show has got better rating than Sunil's special episode with Salman Khan for Tubelight.
When a fan tweeted about the same, Kiku tweeted back to him writing, "God has been kind."
Now, this apparently didn't go down well with Sunil, Sugandha and Ali since they had never even thought that Kiku would tweet something like this, especially since he was also a witness to Kapil and Sunil's mid-air fiasco.
In fact, Kiku was the only comedian who stuck by Kapil's show post the fight, whereas the others, including Chandan Prabhakar had boycotted TKSS to join Sunil Grover's team. The source further told the daily that Sunil and team feel that no comparison can be drawn between Kapil's show and Supenight with Tubelight as Sunil's show was to air earlier on Sunday (June 18) but it had to be pre-poned at the last moment because of the India and Pakistan final cricket match. Moreover, there was only a day's promotion of the episode.
Recently, when Chandan Prabhakar returned to The Kapil Sharma Show, Kiku also tweeted a picture of them writing, "Aksar wahi rishtey lajawaab hote hain, jo zamane se nahi, ehsaaso se bane hote hain @KapilSharmaK9 @haanjichandan welcome back bhai"
Sunil and others remained unavailable for a comment when the daily tried to contact them.
