Shaad Randhawa will be seen in TV fantasy drama Chandrakanta

Shaad Randhawa, who will next be seen in Judwaa 2 with Varun Dhawan, is all set to do a TV show Chandrakanta produced by Ekta Kapoor. Sources say he will be playing Prince Shivdutt, the antagonist in the show. Pankaj Dheer played the role in the first televised version of the show. The arrogant Shivdutt will be enchanted by Chandrakanta’s beauty and yearn for her love. Says Shaad, “When I was approached for the role, I decided to take it up since it was like relieving my childhood days. I have been a fan of the series and grown up watching it. Also, people have appreciated the negative characters that I have played so far on screen and even Shivdutt’s character has a grey shade to it.”
