Bigg Boss 11: Deepika Padukone & Shahid Kapoor to promote 'Padmavati' on Salman Khan's show

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati has been making the right noises ever since the posters of the film were out. The breathtaking visuals in the trailer have further increased audience's expectations.

But now with little more than a month to go for Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer to hit screens, the makers of the Padmavati have begun chalking out a promotional plan. And no surprises that Salman Khan's popular reality show Bigg Boss 11 is on the top of their list. 

The team of Padmavati will be promoting their movie on BB 11 in the last week of October. According to Bollywood Life source, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor will be visiting the sets of Bigg Boss 11 in Lonavala. The two are paired opposite each other in the film and it is no brainer that the makers want to promote the fresh jodi in their film.

Bollywood Life quoted a source saying, “Padmavati is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of 2017 along with Tiger Zinda Hai. So it will be fun to see the cast of Padmavati with Salman Khan on his show! Both Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor will be visiting the sets of Bigg Boss 11 in the last week of October. Ranveer Singh is missing the promotion activity because he has some prior commitments. While Singh will be missed, Deepika and Salman’s camaraderie along with Shahid Kapoor’s antics are sure to entertain the audience.” 

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmavati is all set to release on December 1, 2017.
