Aziz Ansari delivered good comedy with his half-hour series Master of None on Netflix. But after sexual abuse allegations were made against the comedian, he chose to stay away from the limelight and let the speculation about his career run wild.

The streaming giant, on the other hand, has not let the show fade into oblivion and at Television Critics Associations Summer Press tour, Netflix programming chief Cindy Holland said that they definitely want to continue with the third season.

"We would be happy to make another season of Master of None when Aziz is ready," Holland said while addressing media at the Netflix panel.

Ansari has mostly stayed out of the public eye following the sexual misconduct allegations that were lobbied against him back in January.

A 23-year-old Brooklyn-based photographer had claimed that during her date with Ansari she felt pressured by the comedian into sexual activity.

The woman said she "used verbal and non-verbal cues to indicate how uncomfortable and distressed she was". She added that her reticence to engage in the act was "ignored" by the actor.

Responding to the claim, Ansari had said the two engaged in "sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual".

Holland also said that she hasn't talked to Ansari directly.

Ansari did a stand-up comedy set for a week at New York Cty's Comedy Cellar in May.
