'Miss playing with them': Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan get nostalgic on 15 years of 'How I Met Your Mother'

On September 19, 2005, one of the most favourite sitcoms of many How I Met Your Mother aired. The show ran for nine years with the last episode being aired in 2014. HIMYM, as it was popularly known, starred Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders in the lead roles and ran for nine seasons. Now as it has been 15 years since How I Met Your Mother aired, Cobie and Alyson took a trip down memory lane.

Cobie who played Robin Scherbatsky, a Canadian news reporter took to her Instagram page and shared a beautiful photo posing with the whole cast. The photo also includes the 'mother' Cristin Milioti aka Tracy McConnell. Along with the photo, Cobie also posted a video from the show in which they are seen playing the title track of HIMYM.

Smulders captioned her post stating, "15 years. I miss playing with them."

Alyson also shared a poster of How I Met Your Mother and wrote, "Can you believe it has been 15 years?!"

Earlier during an interaction, Cobie spoke at length about being a part of the hit sitcom. She stated, "I met Josh [Radnor] when we were testing. We got along so well, and it just kind of all happened. It just was the best job that I think I'll ever have."

Like her character Robin, Cobie also holds dual citizenship of both Canada and the US. Currently, she has been urging everyone to vote during the ongoing elections in the US.
