Jaipur actor Manish Goplani is preparing for a hectic shooting schedule that awaits him in Mumbai for a new show by spending some fun time in his hometown
Pink City lad Manish Goplani will be next seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show, Yeh Teri Galiyan in the lead role, where he will be playing the character of Shantanu. Manish, who rose to fame with his role as Bihaan Pandey in Thapki Pyaar Ki, has grabbed his third show with Zee TV. Before the shooting of the show begins in full swing and Manish slips into the character, he just wanted to be himself and spend some quality time at home. He is currently unwinding in Jaipur.
Manish landed in the Pink City before he begins shooting for the new show. “My schedule will start in 2-3 days in Mumbai, and once I begin shooting, I won’t be able to come home. So, I decided to visit to be able to spend time with family and friends,” shared the actor with AFTERhrs before heading to a party with his friends on Saturday evening. “All my friends are currently in Jaipur; some have come from abroad so it’s more like a reunion. We are planning to party but I am not aware of many places in the city so I’ll go wherever they will take me,” he added.
The actor spent his Sunday reminiscing old days with friends. “We all went to Nahargarh at 5 in the morning and luckily, the weather was nice so we could sit there for long. We talked about everything, remembering the time when we all were in Jaipur and used to visit Nahargarh,” revealed Manish. “I spent the rest of the day with my family, helped mom cook food and relished ghar ka khana,” he added.
Manish’s upcoming show revolves around a childhood love story. “It’s a love story about two children… aur bade hone ke baad cheez badal jaati hai (things are completely different when they grow up). I don’t know much about the plot as of now, as I haven’t begun shooting; I have just shot the promo. Currently, the unit is shooting with kids in Kolkata for the childhood scenes,” said Manish, who also shared a sneak peak of his look for the romantic drama.
Manish is happy to be playing a new character. “My last show, Detective Didi went off air and they (Zee TV) told me if that they are coming up with a new show. After a month, they called to confirm and I signed the show,” shared Manish. The show will go on air by the end of July. Manish was earlier seen as Chetan in Yeh Vaada Raha and Bhim Singh Bhullar in Detective Didi.
