Doesn't matter if many criticse the show. Naagin has been one of Balaji's most successful shows on telly. After two series in the franchises, Ekta Kapoor has already announced that Naagin 3 will get a new lead actress. Neither Mouni Roy nor Adaa Khan will be featuring in the third instalment of the franchise.

Ekta took to Instagram to confirm the news that she is back with Naagin season 3 but the show will not have Mouni or Adaa but a new face and wrote, “A new naagin arrives! As we bid Adieu to @imouniroy and @adaakhann from NAAGIN we welcome the NEW! Will soon reveal my new ‘naagin’ or should I say ‘NAAGINS’ #waitfornaagin3” Now, the speculation runs rife as Krystle D’Souza to be roped in to play the lead in the third instalment of the franchise.

The hunt has been on for a month now.  According to a report in Bollywood Life, Krystle, who shot to fame with her character Jeevika Chaudhary in Star Plus’ much-celebrated show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, may step into Mouni Roy’s shoes for Naagin 3, while Vindya Tiwari and Tanya Sharma are being considered for Taksha’s role. While Ekta is keen that Krystle plays Naagin on the show, the actress has already been roped in to play the lead in Colors’ show Belan Bahu and has shot the pilot too. So a final call is yet to be taken by Ekta and the Colors’ team whether or not Krystle will replace Mouni in Naagin 3.

While Adaa Khan is busy with reality shows at the moment, Mouni Roy is set for her big Bollywood debut in 2018. She will be in Akshay Kumar film 'Gold' and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' as well.
