'Koffee with Karan': Time Machine dedicates coming week to Amitabh Bachchan to celebrate his 77th birthday

Karan Johar a while ago announced a special season of Koffee with Karan - The Time Machine. The season presents vintage clips from the longest-running talk show and the upcoming week will be dedicated to the Bachchan family in celebration of Amitabh Bachchan's 77th birthday.

The veteran actor will be celebrating his birthday on October 11, 2019, and from October 7 to 11 fans will be able to watch all the Bachchan family's appearances on the Koffee couch talking about Big B and spilling the koffee once again. Some of the most memorable moments include, Shweta confessing she her daddy's favourite and later outing the one-stop-shop for all Bollywood gossip.
 
The episodes to air on Star World will feature Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek's first appearance together on the show for the first season. Fans will also relive Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda's chat with Hema Malini and Esha Deol. On Amitabh Bachchan's birthday, however, clips from siblings Abhishek and Shweta's episode will be aired where the two share memories and secrets of their father. 

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has several films awaiting release in 2020. He recently wrapped up Gulabo Sitabo with Aysuhamnn Khurrana. While not much is revealed about the film Big B's look from the film has fans excited. He will also be seen in Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy. The latter's part one of a trilogy will release in 2020, the film is said to be based in a fantasy world.
