KBC 12 continues with IPS officer Mohita Sharma. The show had come to an end after she won Rs. 40,000. Today, on November 17, 2020, she became a crorepati. Mohita is the first civil servant to become a crorepati on the show.

The question which made her a crorepati was - Which of these explosives was first patented in 1898 by German chemist Georg Friedrich Henning and first used in World War II?

The options for the question were - A) HMX B) RDX C) TNT D) PETN

Mohita was a little confused about the answer and took the help of a lifeline. She asked for expert advice. The expert, Pankaj Pachauri, said the answer was B) RDX.

After Amitabh Bachchan asks if she is sure, Mohita went ahead with the answer and asked the host to lock the answer B) RDX.

It was the right answer and made Mohita Sharma the first civil servant and IPS officer as crorepati on the show.

After Mohita turned the second crorepati on the show, she was headed to Rs. 7-crore question. Sharma however opted out and took home Rs. 1 crore only.

Mohita Sharma is now the second contestant to turn a crorepati on Amitabh Bachchan hosted 'KBC 12'. Nazia Nazim was the first to win that.
