After a Twitter spat with with a journalist and claims of his former girlfriend Preeti Simoes extortion, Kapil Sharma is back to making news for all the wrong reasons. Even the channel is clueless about the future of his new show. According to Mid-Day report, Sharma skipped the shoot for the show over the weekend even when they don't have any episodes in the bank. The Mumbai daily reports that the channel officials have been trying getting in touch with him since Friday but in vain. The channel which stood by Kapil after his previous show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' wrapped up is now in a fix. Since he didn't shoot any fresh episodes, the channel was forced to play old episodes from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' during 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' time slot.
Sharma being the host and the producer of the show, decides the day and date for its shoot depending upon the availability of guest celebrity and his own personal preferences. Within two weeks of the new show going on air, the actor has already missed two shoots in two weeks. Although the channel officials have decided not to wash their dirty linen in the public, they are worried about the huge loss of marketing revenue and wondering when will Kapil Sharma will be resume shoot.
Channel's spokesperson told the Mumbai daily, "We do not want to comment on the matter at this juncture."
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde who is currently doing a show with Sunil Grover stands by Kapil in his tough times. She took to Twitter and wrote, " We all are human, galati kise nahi hota gali kon nahi deta. Chadhte Suraj Ko sab Salam Karte Hai. Pichala respect karke just forgive him. Very humble request to all media people. We need to give him some space."Even his 'arch rival' Krushna Abhishek has requested people to forgive the star comedian. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Krushna said he feels bad for Kapil and does not appreciate the fact that people are pouncing on him. He feels that people should just let him be.
