In his attempt to support Salman Khan, Kapil Sharma blasts the media and gets abusive on Twitter...
Those who're following ace comedian Kapil Sharma on Twitter were in for a shock when he suddenly started hurling abuses in his tweets towards the media, in what looked like his attempt to support Salman Khan initially. Case in point: Salman's conviction at a Jodhpur Court in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case doesn't seem to have gone down well with Kapil. While Salman has been sentenced to a five year term in jail, Kapil Sharma has been dropping bricks and bombs on his Twitter timeline against the media.
What started off as his views on Salman Khan's conviction in the blackbuck poaching case soon turned out to be an angry, abusive rant against the media and one of the entertainment news portals in particular. Kapil didn't even restrain himself from using cuss words (in Hindi) in his tweets while blasting the concept of fake news/paid news. He also mentioned that had he been the Prime Minister of the country, he would put all those spreading fake news behind the bars.
Going by his tweets, the comedian-turned-actor appears to have been mighty irked with the media. We don't know what triggered this sudden bout of emotions but speculations are rife that the recent reports of his comeback show, Family Time With Kapil Sharma going off air, may have upset him and hence the rant.
