Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo is one pairing from Game of Thrones that is missed by the fans of fantasy series. Despite the brutal nature of that love, the pair was adored by the GoT fandom.
Therefore, whenever Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa, who played those characters, come together in real life, the reunion becomes the talk of the town.
The same nostalgic thrill was repeated when Clarke shared an image on Instagram on Sunday night.
In the picture, sat on the Iron Throne, Momoa has Clarke in his arms and the duo in laughing.
According to Clarke's caption, they were attempting to recreate the iconic pose from Patrick Swayze movie Dirty Dancing. Clarke wrote, "FYI...This is the closest you’ll ever get to me attempting ‘that lift’ from dirty dancing. Yes, my man is sitting. Yes, there’s no lake. Momoa did one better and posted a gif video of Moon of his life! He captioned the image: "Moon of my life @emilia_clarke every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling to much. I Fucking love you forever. Aloha j."
In another picture, Clarke was enjoying with her trusted right-hand woman Nathalie Emmanuel aka Missandei from Game of Thrones. The duo posed with swords, crowns and other regal paraphernalia with their Valerian dialect coach Jan Haydn Rowles. Clarke captioned the image: "I GOT A SWORD! AND A CROWN! AND AN UNDERBITE! But these aren't the only two Game of Thrones reunions that are being talked about. Momoa recently met with GoT showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss in Belfast. After seeing the picture, fans speculated that Momoa may reprise his role for a flashback scene. But it could also be a red herring or just a casual drop by.
Party doesn't end there. In the latest post, Momoa gifted a whole bunch of cast pictures to the Game of Thrones fandom to soothe their hiatus pain.
Eight pictures on his Instagram account include Kit Harington aka Jon Snow lifting Momoa in his arms. Another image has Peter Dinklage kissing the man on his cheeks.
Rest of the images include Momoa having a gala time with the cast in Belfast.
