One of the most popular shows Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, starring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, inspired by Manju Kapoor's novel, Custody, has had a good run so far.

The show narrated the journey of a motherless child Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan) who finds her mother in Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi).

While Ishita is infertile, Raman (Karan Patel) is heartbroken as his wife, Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) leaves him and their young daughter Ruhi

Thus, Raman and Ishita get married to give all the love to Ruhi

Eventually, the show entertained the audience with a handful of drama and romance. At one point, the show was one of the top five shows on BARC list for a long time.

But now, looks like the show has lost its charm and rumours are rife that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to go off air.

Yes, a source informed Bollywoodlife that the show may go off air soon.

"It is 90 per cent sure that the show is going off air. And it will happen between first to the third week of January, 2019. However, no dates are confirmed yet," the source told the website.

Rumour mills had it that the show might return with a fresh season 2. However, he source further revealed, "those are rumours and nothing is confirmed yet."

Well, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has, both entertained and disappointed its audience.

When their favourite stars Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel failed to do justice, their fans and followers wanted the show to shut down, and so #EndYHM started trending sometime back.

However, the show didn't shut down then, and instead the makers brought an interesting twist that got the show back on the TRP game.

Although that didn't last long and the show is failing to bag good numbers since a long time.
