Hansal Mehta's show 'Scam 1992' has received a lot of love and appreciation from fans in the past few days. The show, which tries to expose the story of stock broker Harshad Mehta and his way of doing business, has now received one of the highest rankings on IMDb.

Not only does 'Scam 1992' rank among the highest on IMDb, but it also beats the ratings of other classic shows like 'Breaking Bad', 'Chernobyl', and even the most-followed show 'Game Of Thrones'.

'Scam 1992' beat 'Breaking Bad' and 'Planet Earth II' with 0.1 rating. The Hansal Mehta show is rated 9.6 out of 10, while 'Breaking Bad' and 'Planet Earth II' enjoy 9.5 ranking on IMDb.

Here's the proof:

'Chernobyl', too, only enjoys 9.4 ratings on the website. Meanwhile, Game of Thrones, which was the most followed show of all time, only has a rating of 9.2 on IMDb. The rating, however, does not come as too much of a surprise because of how the last season of the show disappointed its fans.

'Scam 1992' is currently streaming on Sony Liv. The show, directed by Hansal Mehta, got its name after Sucheta Dalal, who had exposed the scam in the year 1992, had introduced the word in India through Harshad Mehta's case.

The web show features 10 episodes, each for 50 minutes. The show introduces characters while slowly bringing in twists, which keeps people hooked to find out more.

While Pratik Gandhi plays the lead role of Harshad Mehta, the show also features Rajat Kapoor, Hemant Kher, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Anant Mahadevan, Nikhil Dwivedi, Satish Kaushik and others in pivotal roles.
