Hand of the Kingslayer: Jamie Lannister's 'extra hand' on 'Game of Thrones' gives Twitter a lot to laugh about

Twitterati couldn't stop commenting on 'Game of Thrones' another goof-up wherein Jaime Lannister's hand makes an appearance in the latest episode.

In the fourth episode of Game of Thrones season eight, the makers goofed up majorly as they by mistakenly left a Starbucks coffee gaffe in a scene. The sequence involved Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow with many others celebrating the victory against The Night King and his Whitewalkers. Bernie Caulfield, one of the executive producers of Game of Thrones apologised and said in a statement, "We're sorry! Westeros was the first place to actually have Starbucks."

Now, in the fifth episode, another goof-up took place. In the fifth episode of GoT, 'The Bells', we saw siblings-lovers Jaime Lannister and Cersei Lannister reuniting amidst the destruction taking place at King's Landing. It's a known fact that Jaime has a fake metallic hand after his hand was cut off. Interestingly, his real had made an appearance in a scene where he is embracing Cersei. After this second goof-up in season eight, fans lost their calm and reacted yet again on Twitter.

In the latest episode, Jaime and Cersei are seen dying in each other's arms by the roof falling on them. The fifth episode was penultimate episode and on May 19, 2019, the show's final episode will be aired.

About the Starbucks goof-up, in a tongue-in-cheek comment, HBO said that "the latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered herbal tea." While Starbucks went on to say, "TBH we're surprised she didn't order a Dragon Drink."
