'Grey's Anatomy' star Ellen Pompeo robbed in Italy

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has revealed she was robbed while on a vacation in Italy.

The 48-year-old actor took to Instagram to share how she had her purse snatched by a thief.

"My purse was stolen from right under my nose! I blame the rose! But Grazia to whoever stole it for dropping it on the street exactly intact.

"I was tracking my phone and chasing you down... had I caught you... it would not have ended well for you... I am nice but let's not forget my heritage... NAPOLITANO," Pompeo wrote.

Italy police saw the actor's Instagram post and appreciated her supportive message. "Thankyou @EllenPompeoGreysAnatomy Happy to know the Police in Florence helped you," the department wrote online.
