After a wait for seven days, the second episode of Game of Thrones season eight is out. The first episode 'Winterfell' which was aired on April 15, 2019, ended with Jaime Lannister arriving at Winterfell and catches the eyes of Bran Stark, whom he crippled in the first ever episode of the show. The second episode which is titled 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' starts with Jaime standing in front of Daenerys Targaryen and the rest of the Stark family. Dany begins by saying, "When I was a child, my brother would tell me a bedtime story, about the man who murdered our father. About all the things we would do to that man."

*Major Major Major Spoilers, Read At Your Own Risk*

Tyrion Lannister defends Jaime which doesn't go well with Daenerys. She feels that Tyrion will help his brother in slitting her throat, just the way he did to her father. Even Sansa Stark agrees with Dany that Jaime cannot be trusted as he attacked her father Ned Stark, destroyed her family and more. Jaime replied to Sansa that he won't apologise for that as they were at war. He said he will always defend House Lannister. Well, Bran Stark speaks up and says while staring at Jaime 'Things we do for love'. *Guilty Guilty*

However, there comes Lady Brienne of Tarth, who defends Jaime making Sansa believe them altogether. *Court is adjourned*. Oh, wait, Jon Snow is avoiding his 'aunt' Dany. We saw it coming!

On the other hand, we finally witness romance brewing between Arya Stark and Gendry but they take help of weapons. Arya's advances towards Gendry don't go unnoticed and it will surely give you a hint that something is definitely going to happen, we meant sexually. Gendry better gets on to business and make the best weapon for Arya.

After throwing him off the tower, Jaime meets up with Bran near Weirwood tree for the first time in many years. He apologises for his action but he wasn't back then. Bran kind of thanks Jaime for pushing him off as he is no more Brandon Stark and Kingslayer wouldn't have evolved. Jaime is lucky enough that no one excepts Bran, Cersei Lannister and he knows about what he did to the kiddo.

Lannister brothers Jaime and Tyrion are back! They meet and discuss their ultimate death in Winterfell. We hear about Tyrion's iconic dream death, "In my own bed, at the age of 80 with a belly full of wine and a girl’s mouth around my cock." The bond they share, aww!

We even see Daenerys and Sansa bonding well, finally! Sansa gives out an agreeable statement, "Men do stupid things for women. They’re easily manipulated." Dany reveals her ultimate plan and how Jon is the second most important man in her life. We all know the first one, who was taller! After the Mother of Dragons sits on the Iron Throne, what about the North?! Same feel, Sansa.

Another reunion! Theon Greyjoy is back in Winterfell and Sansa can't contain her happiness as they both are welled up sharing a hug.

War tactics time! Bran is ready to be a bait and why, because he shares an eternal connection with the Night King. Theon repents for all the wrongdoings he did with Winterfell and says he along with Ironborn will protect Bran.

Hiding in the crypt will be the major highlights of the next episode!

Arya is an adult and might face death soon, so why not lose her virginity?! Well, yes that's what she did and that too with, guess who, of course, Gendry!

As everyone is gearing up for the battle, the survivors of many assemble for some wine and chat. Women can't be knights! Who said?! Then came one of the sweetest moments of the episode, where Ser Jaime gives the title of the Knight to Brienne of Tarth. *shed a tear moment*

Here comes the moment of truth! Jon reveals his true identity and Dany refuses to believe she is his aunt, which is valid though. Only his brother and best friend know, how come?

Well, that's an end to the wonderful and calm episode! The White Walkers have brought more chill in Winterfell, making way for another big battle in the next episode.

Look out for this:

1. Tormund still has hopes from Brienne.

2. No sight of Cersei Lannister, but mentioned many times.
