Officially ending the agonising pain of waiting for almost 11 months, the first ever trailer for the Game of Thrones Season 7 was released on Wednesday and it is epic!

There are four forces at work, ready to rule Westeros.

As the first ones, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is holding the King's Landing with brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)as enemies surround them. She has only one motto. "Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it."

"We're the last Lannisters," says Cersei as Lannister army marches on. Cut to Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), overlooking a cliff and be astonished by the size of the dragons, Cersei's words continue, "The last ones who count." This makes it abundantly clear that Tyrion is keeping his job as Daenerys' right-hand man.

The second force is of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). She has arrived at Dragonstone to claim what is rightfully hers. "I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms," roars the mother of Dragons as she brings Dothraki and the strength of Unsullied.

The third one is the king in the North, Jon Snow (Kit Harington). This one may have to struggle with the complicated relationship he has developed with Sansa (Sophie Turner). Then there is Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillan) meddling away. We get the first look of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) inching towards Winterfell as the series is just one season away from concluding.

Fourth force and possibly the deadliest of them all is of The Night King and his white walkers. Wise Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) imparts his wisdom saying, "If we don't put aside our enmities, and band together, we will die. Then it doesn't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne"

LISTEN TO HIM! Enough with your game of thrones!

After all is said and nothing is done, the trailer showcases a beautiful montage of fight scenes intercut with the love scenes between Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan)and Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma).

Then Drogon takes flight and it's terrifyingly majestic!

Watch the trailer. Then rewatch it!

No longer following the plotline of The Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin, the new season will premiere on July 16.
